Spot Remover / Body Prep is a fast-evaporating solvent cleaner that removes grease, road tar, silicone, wax and adhesive from vehicle surfaces before painting, coating or wrapping. It is VOC-compliant for California and other regulated states and dries quickly without residue to support proper adhesion on painted panels, metal and primed surfaces.

How it works
- Petroleum solvent — Dissolves tar and grease; best not left to dwell on paint.
- Aromatic solvent — Strong solvency that can be aggressive to plastics and paint.
- Glycol ether solvent — Dissolves oil film and traffic film; can soften some plastics and rubber.

Usage
- Park the vehicle in a cool, shaded, well-ventilated area (65 to 90 deg F); turn off ignition sources and wear protective gear as needed.
- Mist a light coat onto the target surface, or saturate a clean lint-free microfiber cloth and wipe the area.
- Allow 30 to 60 seconds for tar, grease, wax, silicone or adhesive to soften; re-spray if the surface starts to dry.
- Before the solvent evaporates, wipe with a fresh dry microfiber and turn the towel frequently.
- For heavy buildup on rocker panels or wheel arches, rinse with a pressure washer after wiping.
- Let the surface air-dry 10 to 15 minutes until streak-free, then inspect under bright light and re-treat any remaining residue before sanding, priming or coating.
- Spot test on fresh paint, plastic or sensitive substrates first; avoid use on hot surfaces or in direct sunlight.

사용법
- 서늘하고 그늘진 환기가 잘 되는 장소(18~32°C)에 차량을 세우고 발화원을 차단하며 필요 시 보호장구를 착용합니다.
- 대상 표면에 가볍게 분사하거나 깨끗한 보풀 없는 극세사 천에 충분히 적셔 닦아냅니다.
- 타르·그리스·왁스·실리콘·접착제가 부드러워지도록 30~60초 유지하고, 표면이 마르기 시작하면 재분사합니다.
- 용제가 완전히 증발하기 전, 새 극세사 천으로 면을 자주 바꿔 가며 닦아냅니다.
- 사이드실 패널이나 휠 아치 등 오염이 심한 부위는 닦아낸 뒤 고압수로 헹굽니다.
- 10~15분 건조 후 밝은 조명 아래에서 얼룩 여부를 확인하고, 연마·프라이밍·코팅 전 잔여물을 재처리합니다.
- 새 도장·플라스틱·민감한 소재는 먼저 잘 보이지 않는 부위에서 테스트하고, 뜨거운 표면이나 직사광선 아래에서는 사용을 피합니다.
