A #3000 grit dry-type sanding paper in perforated sheet format, where each sheet can be split into two pieces along a perforation line. Used as the final sanding step before machine polishing in headlight restoration and paint correction.

Usage

  1. Tear the sheet along the perforation to divide one sheet into two pieces.
  2. Use as step 4 in the headlight restoration sequence after Orange (#1300), Green (#2000), and Blue (#2500) papers.
  3. Wrap around a hand sanding sponge (paint/headlights) or felt sponge (metal) and sand the target surface.
  4. Follow with machine polishing: wool buff with Level 3–5 compound, then urethane buff with Level 1–3 compound.
  5. Wipe the sanding surface with a microfiber cloth if clogging occurs. Apply masking tape around work area as needed.

  3. 손 연마 스폰지(도장·헤드라이트) 또는 펠트 스폰지(금속)에 감아 연마합니다.
  4. 이후 울 버프(레벨 3~5 연마제) → 우레탄 버프(레벨 1~3 연마제)로 기계 연마합니다.
  5. 눈막힘 시 마이크로파이버 클로스로 연마면을 닦아 제거하고, 필요시 마스킹 테이프로 양생합니다.
