Armour Wheel Quartz Coating is a high-performance ceramic coating built for wheels, with 76 percent SiO2 solids and a formula that holds up to heat and heavy use. It forms a long-lasting barrier that repels brake dust and contaminants, making routine wheel cleaning easier. Safe on anodized, chrome, painted, powder-coated, clear-coated aluminum, and matte finishes, with rated durability of more than 15,000 miles or 1+ year.

Usage

1. Decontaminate the wheel surface with Armour Wheel Cleaner, then lift any embedded contamination with a clay bar or synthetic clay mitt.
2. If swirls or scratches are visible, polish the surface to reduce defects and bring up gloss.
3. Wipe with Armour Panel Prep to clear oils and residue, repeating twice when polishing was skipped.
4. Prime the applicator with three lines of coating; later wheels only need a small amount.
5. Apply one wheel at a time in back-and-forth or crosshatch motions and let the coating set up 1-3 minutes (about 1-2 minutes typically) until light hazing appears.
6. Level 95 percent or more on the first wipe with a short-nap pearl-weave towel; lengthen set-up if it smears, shorten if removal is hard.
7. Switch to a plush towel for final leveling and check for streaks or cloudy/dark high spots, repeating per wheel and using a fresh towel side every wheel.
8. Two layers are recommended for maximum durability, with 1-2 hours between coats.
9. Allow at least 12 hours of initial cure before driving and water exposure, and avoid washes or chemicals for 7 days; AMPLIFY or Ceramic Spray Sealant can be added 4 hours after application.
