Etchweld is a single-pack self-etching weld-through primer that bonds tightly to steel and protects against corrosion without using heavy metals or chromates. It promotes adhesion for cellulose, synthetic, two-pack, waterborne, stoving enamel, powder and alkyd topcoats while keeping arc behavior stable for MIG, TIG and spot welding.
에치웰드는 강재에 강한 접착력을 발휘하면서 부식을 막아주는 1액형 셀프 에칭 용접용 프라이머로, 중금속과 크롬산염을 사용하지 않습니다. 셀룰로스, 합성, 2액형, 수성, 소부, 분체, 알키드 등 다양한 상도와의 접착을 도우며 MIG·TIG·스폿 용접에서도 아크 거동을 안정적으로 유지합니다.

Usage
- Make sure the surface is clean and free of corrosion, grease, oil and old paint before application.
- Shake aerosols vigorously for about 2 minutes; for non-aerosol stir thoroughly and thin with cellulose thinners up to about 50 percent if needed.
- Spray a uniform coat from roughly 25 cm onto the degreased surface.
- Allow about 30 to 45 minutes cure before overcoating, or up to about 1 hour for thicker films.
- For weld-through joints apply two light coats from 25 cm with about 7 to 10 minutes between coats and let solvents flash off fully before welding.

사용법
- 부식, 기름, 그리스, 기존 도막을 제거하고 표면이 깨끗한지 확인합니다.
- 에어로졸은 약 2분간 충분히 흔들고, 비에어로졸 제품은 잘 저은 뒤 필요 시 셀룰로스 신너로 약 50%까지 희석합니다.
- 탈지된 표면에서 약 25cm 거리를 유지하며 균일하게 분사 도포합니다.
- 상도 도장 전 약 30~45분 경화하며 후막 도장 시 약 1시간까지 둡니다.
- 용접 관통 부위는 25cm에서 약 7~10분 간격으로 2회 가볍게 도포하고 용접 전에 용제를 충분히 휘발시킵니다.
