The Smoothie Backing Plate is a 5-inch premium backing plate co-developed with Buff & Shine, engineered as an upgrade over the stock Rupes polisher plate. A slight gap between the plate and housing reduces stalling, while the intentionally flexible construction allows more controlled surface contact for a smoother, more consistent polishing finish. Greaseless mounting system eliminates maintenance requirements.

Usage
- Attach the backing plate securely to a compatible Rupes polisher (not Mk V).
- Mount the polishing pad onto the backing plate using the hook-and-loop interface.
