Optimum FerreX reacts chemically with embedded ferrous contaminants such as brake dust, rail dust, and industrial fallout, turning purple to signal the dissolution process. The formula is safe on all painted surfaces and wheel finishes when applied to a cool, shaded surface and rinsed off promptly.

How it works
- Iron remover (turns purple) — Reacts with iron particles, turning purple with a distinct sulphur smell.
- Glycol ether solvent — Dissolves oil film and traffic film; can soften some plastics and rubber.
- Cleaning surfactant — Lifts soil off the surface and disperses it in water.

Usage
- Wash the surface and ensure it is cool and out of direct sunlight before application.
- Spray FerreX directly onto the contaminated area; dilute about 5:1 for use in a foam applicator.
- Let the formula dwell for about 1 to 2 minutes and agitate stubborn areas with a soft brush.
- Rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water before the product has a chance to dry.
