Hydr8 Ceramic Coating is a TEOS-based coating from DIY Detail engineered for strong hydrophobic behavior, slickness, and lasting exterior protection. It replaces the prior Metal Ceramic Coating with slower carrier solvents and a longer flash window for an easier application. The TEOS chemistry is intended to reduce clogging during use and resist fracturing in service.

Usage
- Begin with the surface fully clean and dry.
- Wipe the panel with DIY Detail Panel Prep, or apply C6 APP.
- In a ventilated area with gloves on, prime the pad with about 8 to 10 drops, then use 1 to 2 drops per panel.
- Apply in circular motions across a small section such as a front fender.
- You can typically work the whole vehicle and return for leveling within about 30 minutes.
- Watch the surface transition from a liquid to an oil-slick appearance as it cross-links.
- Begin leveling once roughly half of the section returns to clear.
- Wipe gently with a short-nap towel, and wait about another minute if it drags or feels wet.
- Level with a DIY Level One towel, then follow with a Freebird 400 towel.
- Avoid rain exposure for about an hour after application.
- Wait around three days before washing with DIY Detail Rinse Less Wash.

사용법
- 도장면을 완전히 깨끗하고 건조한 상태로 준비하세요.
- DIY Detail Panel Prep으로 패널을 닦거나 C6 APP를 사용하세요.
- 환기가 잘 되는 공간에서 장갑을 끼고 패드에 약 8~10방울을 떨어뜨려 프라이밍한 뒤 패널당 1~2방울만 사용하세요.
- 앞 휀더와 같은 작은 구간부터 원을 그리며 도포하세요.
- 보통 차량 전체를 도포한 뒤 약 30분 이내에 처음 도포한 곳으로 돌아와 레벨링할 수 있습니다.
- 코팅이 가교 결합하면서 액상에서 오일 슬릭 같은 외관으로 변하는 것을 관찰하세요.
- 구간의 절반 정도가 다시 투명해지면 레벨링을 시작하세요.
- 짧은 결 타월로 가볍게 닦아내고, 끌리거나 젖은 느낌이 들면 약 1분 정도 더 기다리세요.
- DIY Level One 타월로 레벨링한 뒤 Freebird 400 타월로 마감하세요.
- 도포 후 약 1시간 동안은 비를 피하세요.
- 약 3일 뒤 DIY Detail Rinse Less Wash로 처음 세차하세요.
