A heavy cutting compound for paint, fibreglass and gel coat, and the most aggressive step of the Refinish range. The abrasives are tetrahedron-shaped rather than spherical, which raises initial cut while breaking down into finer particles as work continues, so swirling is reduced as the compound finishes. Solvents add chemical cut by softening the substrate slightly, and resins cushion the abrasive so it grows smoother as it breaks down. It is a low-dust formula that works on paint, fibreglass and gel coat.

Usage

1. Shake the bottle well; the product is used undiluted.
2. Apply a small amount evenly onto the pad or sponge with the machine off.
3. Work the section with light pressure, adjusting polisher speed until the abrasive breaks down.
4. Wipe the residue away and inspect the finish before moving on.
5. Avoid working on a surface that has dried out, and keep the product from freezing in winter.
