A medium-cut one-step compound for renovating the metal parts of a vehicle such as exhaust tips, rim edges and trim. PROGRESS ABRASIVE and LOW TEMP technologies combine a wide abrasive spread with a lubricated paste that carries heat away, so the metal stays cooler and the machine is easier to control. It removes moderate scratches, dullness and deposits, often in a single pass, and works by hand as well as on wool or foam pads.

Usage

1. Work in the shade on a cool, clean surface, shake the bottle and test on an inconspicuous area.
2. By hand: dose a few drops onto a pad, applicator or microfiber cloth and work in small sections.
3. By hand: polish in circular or linear motions to suit the part.
4. By machine or drill: choose felt or pad hardness according to how much renovation is needed.
5. Spread an even layer over a small working area and polish with moderate pressure until the paste is worked in.
6. Let the metal cool if it becomes too hot.
7. Follow the felt pad with a foam pad for the best final finish.
8. Set the polisher to the optimal speed: up to 1500 RPM on a rotary polisher, or your preferred speed on a DA polisher.
9. Inspect the finish and degrease the surface with SWAG FINAL INSPECT, repeating the process if any degradation remains.
