디졸브
Geist Dissolve is a specialist solvent product based on propylene carbonate that dissolves and softens leather topcoats, making it possible to strip old or discoloured paint layers and soften dried filler compound for easier sanding. Unlike older high-solvent formulations, it does not cause dryness or cracking on new, old, or delicate leathers. Because it removes the topcoat, reapplication of a crosslinked Top Coat is required after use.
가이스트 디졸브는 프로필렌 카보네이트를 기반으로 한 전문 용제 제품으로, 가죽 탑코트를 용해·연화하여 오래되거나 변색된 도료층을 제거하거나 건조된 필러 화합물을 연화시켜 연마를 용이하게 합니다. 기존의 고용제 제품과 달리 신품, 노화, 섬세한 가죽에서도 건조하거나 균열이 생기지 않습니다. 탑코트를 제거하므로 사용 후 크로스링커가 혼합된 탑코트를 재도포해야 합니다.

Dilution

Usage
- To remove excess filler: apply Dissolve onto the filler area using a sanding pad or cloth, wait until the filler becomes sticky, then gently sand off the excess.
- To remove stubborn stains or strip old paint: vacuum and brush off loose dust. Clean the surface with Geist Rapid Leather & Vinyl Cleaner and wipe dry.
- Pour a small amount of Dissolve onto a clean cloth and gently wipe across the surface, allowing it to swell and lift the topcoat. Keep the surface wet and do not rub while the topcoat is tacky.
- Wait a few minutes for the tackiness to dissipate, then repeat the process if required.
- Once the desired result is achieved, spray on Geist Top Coat mixed with Crosslinker to renew surface protection.

사용법
- 잔여 필러 제거 시: 샌딩 패드 또는 천에 디졸브를 도포하고 필러가 점착성을 띨 때까지 기다린 후 잔여 필러를 부드럽게 연마합니다.
- 완고한 얼룩 제거 또는 구도료 제거 시: 진공청소기와 브러시로 먼지를 제거하고 가이스트 래피드 레더 & 비닐 클리너로 표면을 세정 후 닦아냅니다.
- 깨끗한 천에 디졸브를 조금 부어 표면에 부드럽게 닦아주고 탑코트가 팽창하고 들뜨도록 기다립니다. 탑코트가 점착성을 띠는 동안은 문지르지 않고 표면을 촉촉하게 유지합니다.
- 점착성이 사라질 때까지 수분간 기다린 후 필요하면 과정을 반복합니다.
- 원하는 결과를 얻었으면 크로스링커를 혼합한 가이스트 탑코트를 분사하여 표면 보호를 새롭게 합니다.
