Adams Heavy Cutting Compound is a hyper-cutting formula with diminishing abrasive technology that rapidly removes severe paint defects such as deep scratches, heavy oxidation, and sanding marks, often finishing to a near-final gloss in a single step. It is low-dust and works effectively with both rotary and dual-action polishers.

Usage
- Apply a few pea-sized drops of compound to a cutting or heavy-foam polishing pad.
- Spread the compound across the panel at low speed before ramping up to the working speed recommended for your machine.
- Work the compound into the paint using overlapping passes until the product becomes clear and the defects are corrected.
- Wipe away residue with a clean microfiber towel and inspect the area under a detailing light to assess the level of correction achieved.
- Follow with a finishing polish or glaze if additional refinement is needed before applying protection.
