A concentrated acidic cleaner for wheels that have gone unmaintained over long service and carry deposits an alkaline product will not shift. It is aimed at the decontamination stage of a wheel restoration, ahead of hand cleaning, machine polishing and protection. It is intended for lacquered steel and aluminium wheels and for polished wheels carrying a clear coat, and the page notes it can temporarily tint wheels pink and may oxidise damaged coatings, so testing first is advised.

Usage

1. Test the product on an inconspicuous area before first use.
2. Choose the working strength: about 1:20 for regular wheel maintenance, or up to 1:10 for heavily soiled wheels.
3. Work in the shade on a cool wheel and do not let the product dry on the surface.
4. Spray the solution or apply it with a brush, using it only on lacquered wheels or polished wheels with a clear coat, and take care around emblems.
5. Wait up to 5 minutes for the dirt to loosen.
6. Rinse the wheels to remove the loosened dirt.
7. Reapply the product and agitate with a brush for thorough cleaning, then rinse the wheel surface thoroughly.
8. Dry the wheels with a microfiber cloth or a blower.
