Rubber Molding Protection is a coating agent specifically developed for rubber and plastic surfaces on new and late-model vehicles. Unlike conventional solvent-based coatings that risk staining or swelling rubber, this product uses no rubber-damaging solvents and provides a protective film positioned between a spray-on overcoat and a hard ceramic coating in terms of durability — offering chemical resistance, hydrophobic protection, and anti-fouling properties for rubber seals, grilles, wiper arms, and unpainted plastic trim.

Usage

1. After washing, treat the surface with REBOOT or another base-prep chemical.
2. Confirm the application surface is dry, then apply an appropriate amount of Rubber Molding Protection to a cut cloth and work it into rubber, grille, or other plastic surfaces.
3. Allow to penetrate for 1 to 3 minutes, then wipe away the excess with a clean cloth.
