The Auto Finesse Professional Series No.36 Heavy Cutting Pad is a 140mm machine polishing pad engineered for heavy-duty paint correction. Constructed from premium open-cell foam, it rapidly works abrasive compounds through the pad while collecting spent residue, and features a chamfered edge with central recess to prevent compound clogging. Supplied in packs of two and colour-coded purple for easy identification.

Usage

  1. Attach the pad to a 5-inch backing plate on a machine polisher.
  2. Apply 2–4 pea-sized drops of the corresponding No.36 Heavy Cutting Compound to the pad surface.
  3. Work the compound across the panel using the machine polisher at the appropriate speed setting.
  4. After use, soak the pad in warm soapy water, massage out residue, rinse thoroughly, and allow to air-dry.
