An elastomeric paint coating offered as an alternative to conventional ceramic protection. Once cured it forms a durable, flexible membrane that improves the look of the surface, increases slickness and helps shield the paint from everyday environmental exposure. The brand quotes a 1.5–2 micron layer, roughly four years of durability, a 120° water contact angle and 9H–10H hardness depending on substrate.

Usage

1. Wash the vehicle thoroughly and remove all contamination from the paint.
2. Decontaminate the surface with iron removal, deposit removal and claying.
3. Machine correct the paint if needed.
4. Degrease with isopropyl alcohol; the surface must be perfectly clean, dry and cool.
5. Put a few drops of coating onto a dry applicator, using a suede cloth in colder conditions.
6. Spread it in crosswise passes as a wet, even layer, working large panels in sections.
7. Go over the same area again with the applicator alone.
8. Remove the excess with a first clean microfiber cloth.
9. Buff to a streak-free gloss with a second microfiber cloth.
10. Apply Coating Booster at least 10 hours later and hand wash the car during the first days of curing.
